Aplysia et al.

In the middle of this month my family and I took a trip to Gran Canaria.  This island is often associated with mass tourism but it is also ecologically very interesting.  This video captures a few moments of activity during one of my rock pool expeditions in Melaneros - a less used beach with lots of pools full of life.


The Aplysia you can see is Aplysia dactylomela - the sea hare.  You can find out more here.  As you can see there is other stuff going on too.
